Rasgos de Liberdade: março 2005

Hey guys, it`s been a little over two weeks since I got here!
It was a 23-hour-flight (+ 4 hours in London, and 3 hours in Singapure...). My longest ever...
I`m having so much fun here! Lectures started this past week. We learned about "The Heart of the Father", it was awesome!
I`ve been a couple of times to surfer`s paradise beach, which was awesome, and once I went to a man-made beach in the center of Brisbane (we call it "home-made" beach...=p)
Today I saw the 1st cangaroo =) It was in a park nearby.
There`s a river 2 minuts away from where I`m staying but we can`t swim there cause it has salt water and there`s sharks in there... I`d better not take the risk..
People here are awesome! There are a lot of Islanders (from Fiji, Tonga, Samoa and New Zealand). They are really cool people! In my school (All tribes DTS) there are 2 americans, 3 Fijians and 1 from Papua New Guinea, 2 Australian girls and 1 canadian. There are 6 Staff. 3 Fijians, 1 Polish guy, 1 aussie girl and 1 swedish.
The place here is great. It`s a huge property, full of grass and trees, with a lot of little houses around it. One of those houses is our room.
The weather here is really hot, though we`re in the end of summer. It was kinda hard to get used to it at the beggining cause I felt like taking a shower every 30 minuts, but now I`m getting used to it, and I already got a nice tan! eheh
